General Questions and Answers

  • Iza Tymków Studio (formerly Iza Tymków Photography) has been offering family, maternity, newborn, portrait, and branding (business) photography in Budapest and the Dunaharaszti area since 2013.

  • Photo shoots take place in popular, professionally designed rental studios. I’m happy to help you choose the one that best suits your photo shoot and your vision. In addition, we can also shoot at a location of your choice, such as your home or outdoors. If the chosen location is far away, a travel fee may be charged, which will always be clearly stated in the quote.

  • Primarily in Budapest and the Dunaharaszti area, as well as in the Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Sopot (Trójmiasto) region during regular trips to Poland.

  • My photos embody a minimalist, modern, and fresh style. I love shots that tell a story through their naturalness and sincerity—without posing, with just a touch of artistry, and painted with light.

  • Yes, I am available in Hungarian, English, and Polish.

  • I am available on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; weekend appointments are available only by special arrangement.

  • It’s a good idea to schedule your appointment 1–2 weeks before your planned photo shoot. If you can only make certain times (e.g., only Wednesdays or only mornings), book at least 3 weeks in advance to ensure that your preferred time slot is available.

  • Delivery is free in Budapest and Dunaharaszti; I charge a delivery fee for other locations.

Reservations, Pricing, and Cancellations

  • Currently, there is no separate reservation or advance payment system. Payment is made in two installments. The first installment (the photography fee) is due after the photo shoot, while the second installment is due upon receipt of the finished photos via advance bank transfer; once the transfer is received, I will send you the download link.

  • Of course, unexpected events can happen to anyone—events we can’t foresee. I’d just like to ask that, if something like this happens, you let me know as soon as possible so we can find a solution that works for everyone. For prepaid services that I do not provide myself—such as studio rentals—different cancellation policies apply; you can contact the service providers directly for more information.

  • If the photo shoot is canceled due to the weather, we will find another suitable time.

  • You can pay in cash or by bank transfer.

  • Order fulfillment typically takes 4–6 weeks, depending on whether you request additional services or products.

  • Yes, we always issue invoices for orders; for business purchases, we need the company name and tax ID number.

Data Protection

  • Only if you provide your separate, written consent. We will document this in a separate consent form, in which you can make individual decisions for each platform (website, Instagram, printed materials, etc.), and you may withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Separate rules apply to minors — in the consent form, you can choose whether your child’s photos may be posted on social media or only on our own website.

  • I keep the finished files for 6 months. If your copy is lost during that time (e.g., the storage medium is damaged), I will make it available to you again free of charge during that period—but once the 6 months have passed, I won’t be able to help you, so it’s a good idea to make your own backup copy or print out the photos.
