Family Photography

Family photos capture the moments when you are with the people who mean the most to you.

In our fast-paced world, it is even more important to capture these moments. When I photograph a family, I always try to capture the personalities and characters of the family members. The pictures are always natural, I avoid pre-set poses. I create images that you will be happy to look at and take out even in years to come.

It is possible to take photos in the studio and outdoors. The advantage of taking photos in the studio is that everything is available: professional lighting, premium paper backgrounds in different colors, but it is also possible (and I prefer this more) to take photos in natural light, even without backgrounds.

However, the studio can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. If your family is larger than this, we will have to choose an outdoor location.

For outdoor photography, I can recommend several locations in Budapest, but of course, if you have a favorite place, we can also organize the photo shoot there. For outdoor photography, I almost always use natural light.

Consultation

Before the photo shoot, I always provide the opportunity for a consultation, either by phone, email or in person. Here we can discuss any questions you may have, and we can agree on, for example, about clothing or individual needs.

The photo shoot

The photo shoot will last about 2 hours. During this time, a lot of pictures will be taken. There will be the opportunity to take large group photos or take photos in smaller groups. We can create any combination you want: with parents, grandparents, together, separately, etc.

Retouching

You can choose from two types of retouching: the basic retouching packages include basic image corrections (brightness, contrast, exposure).

Premium packages include a higher level of retouching, but at the same time more time-consuming (e.g., correction of wrinkles, skin defects, etc.)

I upload the best pictures to a personal gallery, where you can view them.

Attire

For family portrait photography, it is best to choose solid-colored clothes - too many colors and/or patterns distract attention from the faces and are very distracting, creating a feeling of crowding in the photos. It is important that no one person dominates the pictures, coordinate your clothes in both color and style. No one should overdress or underdress the others. If you want more relaxed and elegant pictures, feel free to bring several changes of clothes, there is a possibility to change comfortably.

In general, long-sleeved tops help keep the focus on the faces. Darker colors are usually better, but if you are unsure, bring a lighter and a darker set and we will see together which one will be the better choice.

However, the most important rule is that you feel comfortable in the clothes you choose. Everyone has a different personality, temperament, and style.
